Body Positive Fitness

Body Positivity strives for radical acceptance and access for ALL bodies. It is a restructuring of society so that fat, disabled, trans, gender-expansive, BIPOC, and underserved communities can also move and exist in peace. Birch & Iron practices movement with this intention.

Our Facility

Our facility has three ADA parking space with curb cuts and ADA push button entry at front and rear entrances. In addition, most kettlebells, dumbbells, resistance equipment, and our FreeMotion machine are intentionally offered at 36-48" height for ease of independent use. Restroom signs and posted material are ADA accessible including Braille transcription for our Community Guidelines. We also offer a touch-less water fountain, tea, coffee, and mindfulness activities with neurodiverse and disabled folks’ needs in mind.

Our Community

The most special thing about Birch & Iron is you, our community. Without our people, this gym would be great, but those who visit and learn new skills, foster new ways of existing in their bodies, and cultivate relationships with one another are the reason we are here. We stand strong with our community.
